Remember Busted? Thought not. Well, their former frontman's newish band, Fightstar, are about to become the latest act to hope on the tech bandwagon to pick up record sales. Unlike Radiohead and Oasis though, this lot are plotting to release on an all new format: VinylDisc. It means you can slap a three minute single on one side and whole seventy minute LP on the other.

The idea is to mix the joys of collecting proper records with digital tunes. The idea comes from a company called Optimal Media Production, who are hoping more names will get behind the scheme. Sounds kind of cool we reckon. Keep your eyes out down your local record store.
